How to export a decode brief for your designer
What you’ll be able to do: Hand your team the strategy behind an ad in a format they can actually build from.
Two exports, two jobs
- PDF brief. A formatted document carrying the decode — hook, angle, offer, audience — plus the ad it came from. This is what you send to a designer, a copywriter or a client.
- CSV export. The ad set as rows, including format and how long each ad has been running. This is for your own analysis in a spreadsheet.
The PDF is the one that changes work
Sending a designer a screenshot of a competitor’s ad produces a copy of that ad. Sending them the reasoning produces something original that works for the same reason.
The brief carries the strategy rather than the artwork, which is the difference between "make it look like this" and "make something that does this job".
Export limits
The free plan includes 1 export so you can see the format and judge whether it is useful. Pro exports are unlimited.
